It all started with a dream.

Pirate Lures began with Kuba Stan’s ambition to make exactly the lures and colours he wanted to fish. Experience in guiding, fly tying, writing, photography and materials shaped the range.

In 2022, production moved to England when Drake House Lures merged with Pirate Lures. The lures are now handmade in Devon using EU materials.
